Bombers LRT Snaffle B12 130mm
The Loose Ring Tube cheekpieces lie flat against the horse’s face giving a more solid feel against the side of the face, while preventing pinching of the lips and the bit being pulled through the mouth. The mouthpiece is quite fixed in the mouth and concentrates pressure on the bars but the loose rings allow for a quick release. This unique group of cheek pieces are fixed against the cheek and exhibit the positive features of a loose ring. Bomber’s offering to the Australian market which allows the quick release of the loose ring while the tube provides lateral aids and prevents pinching. Our Snaffle is a popular bit due to the curved mouthpiece which distributes pressure more evenly over tongue and bars and reduces the nutcracker action. The offset centre link avoids the usual pressure point on the tongue. The nutcracker action results in the horse lifting its head, therefore offers a solution for the horse that runs with its head down. When applied the single break snaffle pinches the bars and tongue raising the head. Popular bit due to FEI requirements although the Bomber curved mouth pieces reduces nut cracker action while the offset link avoids the usual pressure point on the tongue, these points make this bit far more acceptable than the traditional counterparts. However the action of pressure on the bars encourages the horse to lift its head.
